David Gallego Berdah

David is a Partner at the firm and head of the French Desk.

A lawyer with over 20 years of experience in strategic advisory work, primarily in the corporate field, David built his career at Garrigues, where he consolidated his expertise in Employment Law after beginning his professional trajectory in the employment department at Roca Junyent. His extensive experience has given him a comprehensive, rigorous and problem-solving-oriented legal and business perspective.

A specialist across all areas of Employment Law, he regularly advises companies from multiple sectors on matters including employment contracts, restructurings, collective bargaining, trade union relations, employment litigation and corporate labour strategy. He has led and participated in numerous collective bargaining processes as well as in the management of high-profile labour disputes.

As head of the French Desk, he coordinates and leads comprehensive employment law advice to French companies, bringing both technical and cultural expertise that facilitates decision-making and adaptation to the Spanish regulatory framework.

He combines his professional practice with teaching on the Master’s programme at Abat Oliba CEU University, and is a regular speaker at specialist forums and conferences on Employment Law and Labour Relations.

He holds a Law degree and a Master’s in Law from ESADE, and is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, French and English.
